We accept all major credit cards. Your purchase will appear as Mattress Monster, LLC. If you purchased prior to Summer 2009, it would have appeared as Green Beds, LLC – that was our legal name at the time. We do not accept checks. We accept cash, of course, and also have financing options available.
 
  DELIVERY, TRANSPORTATION, PICK-UP  
We have two delivery options available: $35 Recession Buster (drop & go to your curb, you bring inside), or $65 Sleep Easy (we unwrap & set up basic frame if purchased). Additional assembly or delivery beyond the local delivery area may be available for an additional charge.
Deliveries are generally scheduled for Wednesday evenings and Saturday days, but we may consider your off-schedule delivery if you are expecting last-minute company or do not currently have a bed to sleep on. Please note that off-schedule deliveries are dependent upon staffing requirements and may require an additional charge.

This is generally no problem at all and we'll be happy to hold on to it for a month or so at no charge. We reserve the right to change this policy at any time due to storage constraints.
If you have a large-size SUV or van, there is a fair chance the mattress will fit, but a Queen box spring will NOT. We have seen very few vehicles able to fit a Queen inside. A Twin, Full, or King may, depending on your vehicle. King sets are split box springs (each Twin XL size). If you have a standard-size or larger pickup, all sizes generally fit. Should you choose to pick up, you must provide your own straps/rope/tie-downs, as our insurance does not allow us to provide them to customers.
As of late July 2010, we are no longer doing removals, due to increasing charges by the landfills and concerns about bedbug infestations. Most garbage services offer mattress removal services for about the same cost as we'd have to charge. You may also try posting an ad on Craigslist or similar to see if you can sell or donate your old mattress set to someone. We may make rare exceptions for those who are physically unable to move their set, such as a cute grandma or someone with ambulatory disabilities. In these instances, a $20 per-piece removal fee applies.
 
  PRODUCT INFO, SPECIAL SIZES, SPECIAL ORDERS  
Antique mattress sets, otherwise known as 3/4 size, are 48”x75” and available in almost all King Koil models. They are generally available within the normal time frame (orders in by Sunday night are available Friday, except for holidays) and run the same price as full mattresses. Other special order sizes are also available – Twin XL, Full XL, and Cal King.
Typically, your mattress is flexible and should not cause a problem. Box springs, however, are rigid and may present a problem. King box springs are essentially 2 Twin XL size, so you should be okay. Queen split box springs are available for $189, or an upcharge on a new mattress set.
We also offer low-profile box springs for no additional charge when purchasing a King Koil or Sealy new mattress set, if they are requested in advance. These are about 4" shorter than the regular box spring, but generally address a height desire, not a stairwell issue.
If you get your regular box spring home and it doesn’t fit, please give us a call. We can usually figure out a solution for you.
We carry high-quality, steel frames with a lifetime warranty. We generally carry one or two standard options, and can get specialty frames as necessary (heavy-duty, special sizes, footboard frames, etc.). Our frames satisfy all major mattress manufacturer warranty support requirements. $45 Twin/Full, $60 Queen, and $80 King.
Will the frame your grandma gave you expand from Queen to King or Twin to Full? Maybe, maybe not. Feel free to email us a photo or call Jeff and describe it. We can always throw a spare frame on the delivery truck if you’re not sure – just let us know in advance.
We always have more items available than what is on our website. The items in our online store represent our featured items. At times, we may have special purchase items available. We also have products available for catalog ordering. If you’re looking for a particular item, please call or email, and we’d be happy to let you know if there is an unadvertised item available.
We are happy to offer our products to out-of-state customers. We prefer that you call or email to arrange this. Because of the size of most of our items, special delivery must be arranged. We can assist you with this. In general, shipping quotes for mattresses & box springs have been around $250 for each piece, but depend on the size and the delivery destination.
Yes, we love to take and process orders over the phone or via Internet. However, because you are generally making a large purchase, we strongly suggest you visit our stores first to be sure all of your questions are answered and that you are happy with the items you have selected.
 
  RETURNS & WARRANTY  
We are an intentional small business, and you can expect small-shop service. This means every reasonable effort to assist you with your purchase satisfaction and service calls that work with your schedule. If you have questions or concerns, please let us know. Our goal is to arrive at a workable solution for any issues you may have.
MATTRESSES - COMFORT GUARANTEE
We offer a 60-Day Comfort Guarantee on eligible mattress purchases. If you are not happy with your mattress after the required 45 day minimum, please contact us within the next 15 days. In most cases, you may make a one-time exchange in the amount of your original mattress purchase, less any discounts and delivery fees. A redelivery and handling fee of $65 will be charged on all Comfort Guarantee exchanges; additional fees apply to the extended delivery area. If your new selection is of greater value, you are responsible for the difference. If it is lesser, you will receive store credit.
Comfort Guarantee returns must be free of stains, odors, or other damage, including torn fabric and crushed corners. Such damage voids the Comfort Guarantee. The Comfort Guarantee does not apply to special order items, including Twin XL, Full XL, Antique, or California King sizes, as well as “clearance” and “all sales final” items or where the comfort guarantee has been waived. There are no refunds on mattress purchases. We recommend the use of a high-quality, waterproof mattress protector to protect your purchase.
FURNITURE - ORDER CANCELLATIONS
Most furniture items are special orders and made specifically for you. Therefore, furniture orders cancelled within 3 days of the original order date are eligible for a full refund. Due to the size of furniture pieces and because warehousing space is limited, orders cancelled beyond this period are subject to a 15% warehousing fee.
FURNITURE - RETURNS
Please inspect your purchase promptly after receiving it. Occasionally items arrive with slight damage. Please contact us within 3 days of receipt to report any damage. After 3 days, any applicable service and repair fees will be charged to you. We are able to respond to repair issues promptly when photos and descriptions are emailed to us at info@mattressmonster.net.
We will work with you to get damage issues fixed promptly. If we determine it is unable to be repaired immediately, we will make arrangements for manufacturer replacement or repair of the part(s) in question. If you are unavailable for service calls or are otherwise non-responsive for 30 days or longer, the claim will be considered closed, and the cost of any further repairs or replacements will be charged to you.
If you’d like to return your furniture for other reasons, including color, style, or size, or if you decline the suggested repair on a damaged part, please contact us within 3 days of receipt. Because warehousing space is limited, a 15% warehousing fee will be assessed, plus applicable delivery fees for transporting the returned item(s) to the warehouse. All requests for returns must be made within 3 days of receipt of your purchase. Furniture returns may not be made beyond 3 days.
NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS
Due to their personal nature, we are unable to accept returns on the following items: pillows, sheets, and mattress protectors.
Please refer to the manufacturer's documentation that comes attached to your mattress. Stains, odors, and/or damage VOID warranties – so please be sure to protect your mattress with a mattress protector or waterproof mattress pad. This is not an upsell – this protects your investment.
Warranty claims should be routed through Mattress Monster first. The best way to start a warranty inquiry is to email photos to Jeff@MattressMonster.net. Please ask about warranties for other products. Scratch-and-dents items are not warrantied.

We are proud to be a local and independent small business. We are not a franchise or large chain. Jeff’s family ran Butwinick Brothers Furniture for 60+ years in downtown Saint Paul. We appreciate every customer and order that allows us to be successful without being dependent on a corporate directive, and to turn an “idea” into a fun opportunity and local jobs for 7 great staff members.
From June 2007 to May 2009, we operated in Burnsville Center under "Beddy Buy." Mattress Monster will continue to service all Beddy Buy issues.
We have no business relationship with operations running under a variety of names and claiming to be a continuation of Butwinick’s Furniture.
